The construction process comprises five stages: design, framework assembly, shaping, sculpting, and coloring. During the design phase, 3D renderings are created based on site dimensions and landscape requirements to determine the rockery's shape, height, and layout.

For the framework assembly, steel bars are welded into a mesh structure according to the blueprints and anchored to the foundation. In the shaping phase, layers of cement mortar are applied over the framework to establish the initial contours of the rockery. Sculpting is the core process, requiring artisans to use specialized tools to carve details such as rock textures and fissures into the cement surface. Finally, multiple layers of color are applied to simulate the effects of natural weathering.
